Chlöe – Pray It Away (Official Video)

Earlier this week, Chloe Surprise Announce her upcoming debut album, “In Pieces,” with a visual teaser and a short audio clip released to social media. Now, the R&B and Pop songstress has released the first track “Pray It Away” from the album.

The melodic yet emotional cut sees Chloë sing about a failed relationship and wrestling between pain and wanting revenge. Alone in her head about what to do, sees the songstress look above to pray away the hurt and conflict. “Lord knows I’m tryin’, I pray every night/But I can’t help that I’m messed up in the head/Tryna be saved, but you gonna need savin’/’Cause you got someone else in my bed/Call on the Lord/Down on my knees, yeah, I’ve been here before/Don’t wanna do somethin’ that I’ll regret, I’ll regret, I’ll regret it again/Regret it, regret it again,” said Chloë in the bridge.

Accompanying the song is a striking visual that shows Chloë praying in a church surrounded by candles, offering up a praise-like dance break dressed in white, singing in front of an ornate stained glass window while dressed in gold and more. Undeniably the new track and music video shows Chloë growth as an independent artist and producer, which will fully come to light when “In Pieces” releases in March of this year.
